Community Art & Craft days
We are keen to use the Café to the benefit of all groups within the community so it was lovely to welcome Granta School to our Community Craft day in June.
Our next event is on Tuesday 21 August from 11am-2pm making mini houses (like those on the right ) and bracelets. Suitable for all ages and abilities. All materials and tuition supplied £5 for houses, £2.50 for paracord bracelets.
Working in conjunction with the Patients Participation Group at the Bottisham Surgery we are holding our first carers group on Thurs 27 Sept 2-3pm (the last Thursday in the month) at Red2green Community Café
This first informal get together will be to find out what carers would like from a regular carers group such as:
· Learning more about living with conditions such as dementia, diabetes or heart disease etc
· Chatting with other carers, cake and coffee, or
· Relaxing with some crafting activities.
We are grateful to Awards for All England from the Big Lottery Fund for funding towards our Hearts and Crafts Café project, because as well as refreshments we will shortly be providing relaxing crafting activities open to all.
Would you like to be part of it?
We are looking for volunteers to get involved, do get in touch if you'd like to be part of this exciting new project.

Sensory garden and plant sales
Our garden gives our clients the opportunity to take part in horticultural and retail activities providing work experience, training and fun. We in the process of developing our new sensory garden and clients are busy growing a wide range of vegetable and salad crops for use in the café.
