Our volunteers play a vital role
and their valued support helps many people to participate in our services and helps us achieve our aim of being at the forefront as a provider of learning, leisure and work opportunities for those who need it most.
There are many ways that you could help, and we will always try to match your skills and interests to the type of support that is needed, so that volunteers also benefit and can further their own development.
Our volunteering opportunities can be flexible or more regular.
We pay 40p a mile for travel expenses and as you would expect, all volunteers have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Elly, with learner Luke, says “I started volunteering with Red2Green in January, it was the best move I could ever have made. It has spiralled into paid work although I do continue to primarily volunteer there. It has inspired me to hone the skills God has blessed me with to work towards a future in dramatherapy where I can help people who are on the autistic spectrum and/or who struggle with their mental health. I am constantly amazed by the work done by the people who work/volunteer there, not to mention the clients they are working with!“
Bottisham Community Café
This exciting new project will be run by adults with autism and learning disabilities, who will prepare and serve refreshments and home-made snacks whilst learning business and social skills to prepare for future employment opportunities. They will also share their crafting skills with customers. Click here to find out more about the café. Do get in touch to find out more.
